Walk-In Work Injury Care in the Denver Metro
Hurt on the job? Walk into any of our four Front Range clinics, Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm. No appointment needed. If the injury is a medical emergency, call 911 first.
CALL 911 for severe bleeding, chest pain, trouble breathing, head injury with loss of consciousness, an amputation, or a suspected spine injury. Emergency care comes first — we pick the claim up afterward.

Your visit
What happens when you arrive
- 1Check in at the front desk
Tell us it is a work injury and give us your employer name. If a claim is not open yet, that is fine — we start the documentation for you.
- 2See a physician or PA
You are evaluated by a provider, not triaged and sent home. Occupational medicine is all we do, so the exam is built around the job you have to go back to.
- 3Get treated the same visit
Wound care, splinting, medication, and therapy referrals happen the same day. If you need imaging or a specialist we order it and refer you out, then follow up on the report.
- 4Leave with written restrictions
You get a work status note to hand your supervisor so modified duty can start right away, and any recheck is scheduled before you walk out.
We can help you get the transportation assistance you need for work-related injuries
Injury Care Associates provides free transportation to and from your job site for all work-related injuries.

Common questions about walking in
Correct. For a work-related injury you can walk into any ICA clinic Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. Calling ahead lets us pull your employer information before you arrive, which usually shortens the visit.
Come in anyway. Treatment does not wait on paperwork. We document the injury and the date you reported it, then work with your employer and their insurer from there.
You can be seen. In Colorado your employer or their insurer gives you a written list of providers to choose from, so whether ICA can stay your treating physician depends on that list. Bring it if you have it and we will sort it out with you. This is general information about Colorado workers compensation, not legal advice.
It depends on the clinic and the time of day, so we will not put a number on it. Calling ahead and arriving earlier in the day both help.
