Patient-centered
The person, then the paperwork
Compassionate care comes first: explain what happened, treat it properly, and make sure they leave knowing what is next and who is paying.
Overview · Company
Injury Care Associates is a physician-led occupational medicine practice with clinics in Denver, Thornton, Parker and Lakewood. Injury care, physical therapy, physicals and testing — for the employers and crews of the Front Range.
Who we are
Injury Care Associates is Colorado’s trusted partner in occupational health. We specialize in comprehensive medical care for workplace injuries and in the occupational health services employers are required to run — physicals, testing and surveillance — for businesses and individuals alike.
Our four clinics in Denver, Thornton, Parker and Lakewood are placed so access is easy and care stays personal. An injured employee is seen the day it happens, treated by people who do this work all day, and given a work status their employer can act on before the shift ends.
Behind that is a strong set of values that guides everyday practice: patients at the center, transparency with the employers who send them, partnership with the communities we serve, and a standard of quality we keep raising.
What we hold to
Stated plainly, and written the way our team actually applies them.
Patient-centered
Compassionate care comes first: explain what happened, treat it properly, and make sure they leave knowing what is next and who is paying.
Transparency
Findings, restrictions and timelines go to the people who need them in writing, so you know what to plan for before the shift starts.
Community
We teach, sponsor and show up across the Front Range because a safer workplace is cheaper than any claim we could treat.
Quality
Protocols reviewed as guidelines change, staff trained continuously, and outcomes measured by whether people got back to work well.

Our culture
A supportive work environment is what lets this team deliver standout care. Providers, therapists and front-desk staff work the same cases together, and the person closest to the problem is expected to speak up.
We keep hiring for range — bilingual staff, providers and therapists who came from hospital, orthopedic and sports-medicine settings, people who have worked the kinds of jobs our patients do — and we fund the continuing education that keeps them current. Our patients get the benefit of that directly.
In the community
We put real time into the safety and HR community here — because the employers who understand workers’ comp before an injury happens handle it far better when one does. Four ways we do it:
Each year since 2024
We host clients and their families at the Denver Zoo — a chance for our medical specialists to know the people they work with outside a clinic setting.
Twice a year
Sessions for business leaders and safety professionals working through workers’ comp, occupational health management and what other employers are doing well.
Three or four times a year
We sponsor panels on work and job-site injuries, where comp, HR and business professionals hear from Colorado workers’ comp physicians.
Year-round
Health fairs and job-site safety events statewide, partnered with local organizations to get prevention resources in front of crews.
One business at a time
Our sponsorships go to the Colorado institutions our clients and staff are already part of.
We sponsor the Denver Zoo, an institution our staff and client families visit all year. It is also where we host Customer Appreciation Day, so the sponsorship puts our support into a Denver landmark and into a day our clients actually turn up to.
We sponsor the Masters Cycling Club, whose adult athletes train and race across Colorado. It is a Colorado organisation our clients and staff are already part of, and backing it keeps us present in the community outside the clinic.
Careers
Clinic hours instead of hospital shifts, one patient population you get genuinely good at, and a team small enough that your judgement counts. We hire providers, therapists, medical assistants and account staff across all four Colorado clinics.
